Welcome to particularbaptist.com's Computer
Aids and Resources Page. This page is designed to be of some
help to those who may not know too much about computers and
the Internet.
What's On This Page:
The idea of this particular page is to help
people out in the use of their computer, in using the Internet
and World Wide Web, in the formation of their own web sites
and other articles that may be of some help to you. If the Aussie
Outpost can help you in some way by compiling this directory
of articles, then the effort has been worthwhile.
I am certainly no expert, so I am thankful
for the help afforded to me by the various people that have
allowed others to use their articles and knowledge freely on
the Web. My thanks to all that have contributed articles here.
Putting together my various web sites I have
noticed that there isn't a lot of free aids to assist people
in putting together their own sites. Those that do provide some
free aids often require links back and so on. For Christians
this may not prove helpful, especially when that site's content
is immoral, anti-Christian, etc. So here Aussie Outpost is attempting
to put together some items that may help Christian webmasters
in putting their site together.
If you can assist our project, please pass
on your site's URL or the items you can donate to this site.
Thank you.

Google Toolbar: I use this as an add-on to
Internet Explorer. I think it's great having Google
nearby. It is after all the best search engine there
is.

AVG Anti-Virus: This is a free anti-virus that
I use on my computer. I have never had a problem using
this anti-virus. I am constantly assailed by those who
would have me use Nortons or the like. I used to use
software I bought, but when it ran out of subscription
I decided not to pay and began using AVG. It can be
set up to update itself.

Zone Alarm: A free firewall which I think is
brilliant. Forget Nortons - this is the best in my opinion.

me.

Recycling Near You: This site is run by Planet
Ark and is a brilliant idea. The site obviously is all
about recycling, with parts of the site focusing on
computers and computer accessories like printer cartridges.
http://www.mobilemuster.com.au
Mobile Muster: This is another great recycling
site - this time recycling mobile phones. The site is
run by the Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association.
Hundreds of Australian retailers are taking part in
the scheme.
