Welcome
to Kevin's Horticulture. What may be unknown to many is that
I am by trade a horticulturist. I don't say that I'm a very
good one, for I have forgotten much of what I was trained in
over 19 years ago. However, horticulture is still very much
a leisure activity for me.
Where I now live the garden and lawn is
very much over-run with onion weed and oxalis (it's a rented
place). At my previous place I had a huge garden with many different
plantings. For the time being I content myself with pots and
the like, trying to keep my interest going without putting in
a lot of work which may be wasted if I should need to move again.
In this part of my website I will share
that which now interests me in the field of horticulture. Largely
it lies in the areas of bromeliads, cacti, ferns and orchids.
Maybe it will be of interest to some - but it is part of who
I am.
