Greetings Family and Friends,
As some of you know there have been difficulties in receiving my family and friends letters by way of attachments, especially for people who have hot mail accounts, etc. Anyhow, I have moved to make this less of a problem by starting a new mail group, the 'Kevin Matthews - Family and Friends Mail Group.' All of the Family and Friends letters from this year are now available in the mail group's file section if you haven't received any or feel you have missed some.
What do you need to do to continue receiving the family and friends letters? You simply need to join the mail group, which is very easy to do. Simply send an email to:
Matthews_kevin-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.au (no longer exists - 25/04/2004)
From time to time emails will be sent to the group, which will then make their way to your email inbox letting you know when the latest family and friends letters are posted to the files section of the mail group. These are then readily available to you at any time to download and print off if you like.
Of course the group is not a family mail group - there is already a couple of these available to my family via my family history homepage at:

This mail group is specifically for my family and friends letters and for any correspondence that may come to me via the group as a result. It also gives me an opportunity for posting materials to the world that is immediately available to all my friends and family. So I guess you could say it's a personal mail group of sorts.
Anyhow, I don't intend sending the family and friends letters to anyone anymore via email. They will only now be available via this mail group, so if you would like to keep getting these letters please consider joining the mail group - it will only take a moment or two to do.

PS I have included several email addresses that I've picked up recently of people I know or have known who haven't received any of these letters before. I thought I'd invite you to the group just in case you were interested in joining and catching up - if not, no real harm done, just ignore the email and accept my apology for the intrusion.
