Brethren, thank you for praying
for me - Please continue to do so. If you would like more information
on any of the items appearing on this page or simply would like
to comment on them, please feel free to email me as often
as you like. I value the input and prayers of my brethren around
the world.
What's on this Page:
The changes to particularbaptist.com and its sister sites continue to move along. The Reformed Particular Baptist Fellowship community has now been moved from Ning to Grou.ps. I have also removed the site forum and replaced it with that offered within the community.

I have also updated 'Kevin's Place,' placing several of the links I had on the front page of particularbaptist.com there, as I thought it more proper to place them there.

The overhaul of particularbaptist.com is nearing completion. I have only a few minor things to do, which isn't to say I won't be perpetually improving the site, but this latest major work is almost completed. I think the site is far better overall, with most of the content being far easier to read and use than it was.
I have also added several more links to the main directory on the front page of the site - simply bringing all the sites I operate and maintain to the main page for easier access. These include several links to groups within Facebook.
I have also added my Twitter updates to the front page.
I have finally been able to complete 'A Memoir of the Life and Writings of Andrew Fuller,' by Thomas Ekins Fuller. You can view the book at:
http://particularbaptist.com/library/memoir_fuller_contents.html
I am now working on completing the Hugh Latimer biography by R. Demaus. Hopefully this will be finished by the end of May 2009.
There have been a number of improvements to the site just recently, with most of the action taking place in the library (including the addition of over 60 articles/tracts by J. C. Ryle), School of Theology (1689 Confession series) and the Bible Studies section of the site.
Work has also been continuing at the Blogs - Random Thoughts, Particular Baptist Studies and At the BookShelf (new Blog).
I am still having some issues with the front page poll.
Several other more minor improvements have also been done to the site.
The frst issue of the all new Perambulate Newsletter has been publised today. Subscribe to the newsletter and find the archives at:
There has been a lot going on at particularbaptist.com in recent months, from a new look (though not too new) front page to the addition of several new Blogs. There is just so much to mention, but briefly there has been:
-
the removal of several mail groups
-
the front page new look
-
the addition of several Blogs including Particular Baptist Studies and Tracing our History
-
the ongoing improvement to the library section of the site, as well as the addition of a Shelfari social network page, including the Reformed Readers Group (please join)
-
improved wider church section of the site
-
and much more...

-
a new guestbook has also been installed - click on the image below:

-
a new poll has been installed on the front page.
-
The ecard centre (click on the link from the directory on the front page) has been reviewed and updated. A new feature coming soon - our own photos will be able to be used for ecards.
Have a look around the site - it is being constantly upgraded, improved, additional content added, etc.
At the bottom of the home page ( http://particularbaptist.com/ ) and in the directory of contents on the left of the home page there are now links to a stats page on which various statistics relating to the site are listed. These statistics apply from the time that the site became particularbaptist.com.

Time has passed fairly quickly since the last news posted here concerning the site. Not a lot has happened, but I am at work again now. I am trying to make the running of the site a little easier and consistent. Given my inability to get newsletters out on time I am trying to arrive at a solution and I'm thinking that the Blog is the answer. Instead of spending large amounts of time putting together newsletters, it will be far easier to post material to the Blog. I have stopped
publishing the Particularbaptist.com newsletter and I am now posting updates concerning the wider church to my Blog site instead.
It is likely that I well develop further Blogs to replace other newsletters as I go along. I think ezines have been pretty much superceded by Blogs these days anyhow.

Starting today I have begun the upgrade process for the wider church section of the site including the newsletters, links and BookAid pages. I am hoping to make the section easier to use and navigate - as well as look better.
The first issue of the new Particularbaptist.com News and Prayer Letter is now available online. The new newsletter is the latest manifestation of the 'Wider Church Prayer Letter.' The newsletter can be subscribed to by joining the new mail group which will be launched later this week (hopefully tonight). In the mean time, view the first issue at:

I have decided to upgrade the news and prayer points page - hopefully making it more user friendly, with the latest news appearing at the top of the page and the ability to browse older news and prayer points.
