You may copy, distribute and print this ezine for all Biblically profitable reasons. However, I do ask that you leave the ezine intact.
Well, so far so good. As far as this particular ezine is concerned I have been able to get another issue out before it runs late (which means I'm actually early this time round). For this I am really thankful and hope that this will be my future experience also. Still, I do expect work to interfere from time to time as, preventing me from getting issues out on time.
With this issue I also pleased to be able to add new content to the Aussie Outpost site, which will be for the first time in some time. This includes the article by Augustus Toplady which forms part of this fortnight's ezine. The whole article is not included - only a sample is given. Yet there is a link to the entire article in the ezine. It is well worth reading.
The way ahead for this ezine will be to include links to new content on the site rather than repeat entire articles in the ezine. This of course safes time, as well as space on the site for more content. I am intending to add a lot more content in the coming weeks and months.
Anyhow, onto this fortnight's issue. Enjoy your reading.

KEVIN'S FAMILY - HISTORY SITE:
Recently added to the site, or completed, has been a biography on William Dampier (one of the first Europeans to step foot in Australia), an address by the Rev. Richard Johnson to the early settlement in Australia and Norfolk Island, and an account of a Norwegian visit to Antartica (or the South Pole). Antartica of course is very close to Australia and Australia controls a large section of it.
I have also recently purchased some new content for the site, which will eventually become available, including:
The Australian Explorers: G. Grimm History of Australia: James Allen Illustrated History of Methodism: W. Daniels (Methodism was important in Australia's early beginnings, though it is largely a spent force today). Life and Work of Samuel Marsden: J. Marsden.
ARMINIANISM: THE GOLDEN IDOL OF FREEWILL - Augustus Toplady
I have added a new article to the Aussie Outpost site. It is a sermon by August Toplady entitled, 'Arminianism: The Golden Idol of Freewill.' This is a very well-written article that clearly expounds the foolishness of Arminianism and the mercy of grace in our salvation. This is well worth a read. A small sample of the article follows:
There are no marks of shipwrecks, no remnants of lost vessels, floating upon that sea, which flows between God’s Jerusalem below and the Jerusalem which is above. The excellent Dr. William Gouge has an observation full to the present point:
“If a man were cast into a river, we should look upon him as safe, while he is able to keep his head above water. The Church, Christ’s mystic body, is cast into the sea of the world [and, afterwards, into the sea of death]; and Christ, their Head, keeps Himself aloft, even in heaven. Is there, then, any fear, or possibility, of drowning a member of this body? If any should be drowned, then either Christ Himself must be drowned first, or else that member must be pulled from Christ: both which are impossible. By virtue, therefore, of this union, we see that on Christ’s safety, our’s depends. If he is safe, so are we. If we perish, so must He.”
Well, therefore, may dying believers sing, “Not unto us, O Lord, but to Thy Name, give glory! Thy loving mercy carries us, when we cannot go: and, for Thy truth’s sake, Thou wilt save us to the utmost without the loss of one.”
