A list or directory of historical events from the Roman Catholic perspective. Is useful in that it gives listings of the various Popes, Roman Emperors, etc.
- Church History Timeline
The timeline uses a simple line graphic and breaks the history into periods.
- Hall of Church History
Site with many links to church history resources. Church history is broken down into sections for easier reference.
- Timeline of Church History (Eastern Orthodox Perspective)
Uses a graphic to show the progress of church history and the parting of the ways of Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy.
Early Church:
- Christian Catacombs of Rome
Plenty of information on the history of the catacombs of Rome which were often used by believers to worship in and bury their dead.
- Ecole Initiative: Early Church Documents
A massive range of documents relating to the time of the early church.
- Pompei Virtual Tour
A virtual tour in that it gives plenty of information, along with graphics and photos of the ancient city. It comes from a Christian perspective.
